水磨石地面整體性能好，堅固、光滑、耐磨、美觀、易于清潔，但它施工復雜，無彈性，吸熱譬強，常用享人流較大的交通空間和房間。對美觀要求稍高的建筑，可采用美術查磨石，即以白泵泥或彩色水泥為膠結料，摻入大理石石屑而制成。通過不同色彩、圖案來求得豐富的變化和令人滿意的藝術效果。水磨石樓地面與水泥砂漿地面一樣，在我國南部地區(qū)及濕度大的季節(jié)里易出現返潮現象，那么水泥地面應該如何做好防水呢？
1、面層下的防水隔離層，應經蓄水試驗合格后，方可鋪設面層。施工面層時．應防止對防水隔離層造成損傷，面層的坡度應事先做出標記，保證坡度設置正確。
